Grinding, Polishing and Shot Blasting Balls
Grinding, polishing or shot peening balls have much wider shape tolerances than precision balls and are generally made of steel, stainless steel or glass, or even ceramic on special order.
Hollow balls
Hollow plastic balls are mainly used in petrochemical industry as they float. In swimming pools, they limit evaporation and protect from air or sun, they are also able to contain emanation and to keep the heat.
Needles & Rollers
Needles and rollers are mainly used in bearings as rolling parts to transmit couple and avoid friction. Needles can be used as precision axis or even as polishing parts and are both made from steel and stainless steel.
